Snow Days in Georgia

Well,  it’s pretty early in the evening and I am way over caffeinated. Seriously, I think, I’m on my second cup of coffee but I’m jittery as all get out.  Any who, so for the past two days (tomorrow will be the third) it feels like everything in Georgia has been closed due to the snow and ice. The few inches of snow we did get sent us into a tail spin. The traffic around Atlanta is miserable! I know, yesterday, it took one of my sorority sisters five hours to drive three miles. It’s ridiculous. Any who, I’ve been stuck at home for the past two days now and I’ve been passing the time reading, bird watching, and playing with Barkley outside. It’s nice waking up to see the yard covered in a blanked of snow, but I’m ready to be productive again.

I’m usually a laid back person. I love to read. I’m a history nerd. If I could go back in time and meet just one person it would probably be Pope John Paul II. I’m married to my best friend. Fall is my favorite season. The Giant Panda is my favorite animal. I love it when you go somewhere, see something, or even eat something and it bring back memories from your past. I love the smell of rain. Oh, and by the way, I’m Leila (lie-luh).
